The Ducati 900 MHE (Mike Hailwood evoluzione) is a Ducati mythical, designed by Pierre Terblanche to pay tribute to Mike Hailwood (aka Mike the Bike), and for sale exclusively on the website of Ducati only on 1 January 2000 at 0:00. Published only 2,000 copies, it will be the symbol of transition from Ducati to do new era, namely the year 2000 well, but the resumption of the mark by the investment fund TPG.

This bike was sold at a price of 100 000 francs (about 15 000 €).

The rarity of the object, and the importance of the event was certainly the time to attract collectors. So after 8 years, they made a good deal?

The answer lies on the Internet: while the MH 900 e are quite rare in France, but not necessarily in other European countries.

Results: I managed to find on the same site no less than 7 MH 900th, whose prices range from € 10 190 and 15 399 €.

It will therefore have to be patient before this masterpiece is finally being recognized, and that speculation is paid.

In the meantime, I'd go well in my garage.
