The Harley-Davidson Museum

To celebrate its 105 years, Harley-Davidson opened his museum, the Harley-Davidson Museum (original is not it?) In Milwaukee.

The architecture, which is an attraction by itself, is signed Pentagram.

The museum is on two floors, visitors can discover motorbikes and objects being restored, and a restaurant, cafe and a souvenir shop.

Museums are important elements to bear markings. We remember in particular the decision of TGP, the American investment fund, which since the acquisition of the brand DUCATI (then more than moribund) wished to open a museum on the mark, even before the upgrade tool Yet aging production. This strategy was paying, it reinforced the values and corporate image, and permit to sell many products ...

The capitalization on the image began at that time a virtuous circle, which allows today DUCATI to be a motorcycle manufacturers with the most wind in their sails.

Harley-Davidson in advanced talks to buy MV Agusta

Harley-Davidson is in advanced talks to buy the contructeur Italian MV Agusta, according to the daily Messaggero.

Guidon MV Agusta Brutale

Harley-Davidson buy most of the debt of MV Agusta, (currently estimated at about 200 million - 130 million euros held by banks and 70 million euros held by suppliers).

Harley-Davidson could buy 80-85% stake in MV Agusta, leaving the remaining 15-20% Claudio Castiglioni.

Castiglioni currently owns 29.6% of MV Agusta, the 65.4% being owned by finance company GEVI.

New entry of new money for MV? By entering the capital, Harley-Davidson would particularly benefit MV Agusta its extensive network of dealers.
