What is a highside?
A highside is a type of motorcycle accident (a figure unintentional ...) which is caused in the rear wheel drive when it is not oriented in the direction of travel. To trigger a highside, the rear wheel has lost traction and skid away from the direction of the motorcycle. The loss of traction may be caused by a blockage of the rear wheel of an excessive braking or accelerating too important to the exit of a turn.
